How we fix mistakes
- We fix errors in place as soon as we confirm them against a primary source, so every page shows the right version.
- New information is added as an update, such as a later launch time or a result. Stories show their newest update at the top; other pages show the date they last changed.
- Page addresses and titles don’t change once a page is live, so links to us keep working.
What counts as a good source
The agency or company itself first: NASA, JPL, ESA, JAXA, CNSA, SpaceX or the FAA. Reputable news outlets come second and are labeled as such. How we choose and cite sources
